Brașov is the urban center with the most advantageous cost of living in Romania, according to a study carried out by the Storia.ro real estate platform and the D&D Research agency and cited by Forbes.ro. The research analyzed the perception that Romanians have of the perceived cost of living in the city and neighborhood where they live, in relation to the income they obtain.

The ranking continues with the cities of Cluj-Napoca, Oradea, Sibiu, Pitesti, Timișoara, Târgu Mureș, Craiova, Bucharest and Iași. […]

In terms of historical regions, Transylvania is considered the area with the lowest cost of living, followed by Bucharest and Ilfov, Oltenia and Banat. Moldova, Dobrogea and Muntenia scored the lowest. [...]

Brasov residents consider Răcădău, Avantgarden and Noua to be the neighbourhoods with the best cost of living. In the bottom three positions are Bartolomeu, Calea București and Brașovul Vechi.
